Are you a driven candidate? If so, we are looking for you! We are growing rapidly and looking for a Rental Fleet Inspection Manager who will partner with our growing team. The role is located at our Fort Worth, TX location.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.

This position will be auditing inspections in all locations for the rental fleet. You will be responsible for keeping all inspections up to date and accurate and compliant with Custom Truck policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will help prioritizing on rent units at customer locations.

• Ensures that all equipment in our rental fleet is up to date per state required compliance regulations.

• Overseeing that the inspections are up to date, being completed accurately, timely, and efficiently in each of our locations.

• Communicating with all rental customers and informing them on when their inspections are due.

• Maintains a solid working rapport with Rental Operations to resolve discrepancies as noted

• Responsible for notification to customers and departments of improper operations, defective material and questionable conditions.

• Sets up annual, DOT, dielectrics, and any other state mandated inspections using proper tools and procedures.

• Must maintain a system for collections of data and record maintenance

• Responsible for periodic checks of inspection due dates within prescribed limits for operation being performed

• Encourage and promote the practice of safety and adherence to safety and other company rules, and the proper operation and care of all equipment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)

• 1-3 years’ experience in previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• General mechanical aptitude and experience with parts; knowledge of hydraulic, heavy equipment, diesel truck and/or farm equipment preferred.

• Knowledge of correct hose and electrical routing, as well ability to read schematics

• General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, etc.) to process orders. Knowledge of inventory software to process purchase orders and tracking inventory helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in cold and hot weather conditions some part of the time.

• Be able to grip, pull and push heavy objects; perform routine lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Walking, climbing, crouching, standing, and sitting are required; ability to work with hands
